Ryan and I keep pretty busy most weeks. There were a few wonderfully warm days in North Carolina, so we took some family outings to the park for a stroll. He loves being outdoors and looking around. Ryan gets to hang out in the church nursery on Sundays and Thursdays (while I'm at Moms group). Of course he's the cutest baby there!
Ryan celebrated Daddy's birthday on February 13th. We went to Grandmommy and Papa's for dinner and birthday cake. Ryan had a small taste of icing, though no word on whether he liked the icing or not. Ryan also received a few valentines the next day, not to mention a huge teddy bear. Seriously I think the bear is bigger than Ryan. Grandma and Grandpa K came to visit Valentine's Day weekend. He had a wonderful time chit chatting with his grandparents. He was showing off his new social skills of cooing and smiling.
At his two month check up, the peditrician told us that Ryan was doing great. He now weighs 10lbs 14oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. He also had to get two shots. Ryan did very well with the first shot, cried a little but calmed right back down. The second shot was not kind to Ryan. He howled and his face was many shades of red. He calmed down once we got to cuddle with him again. Poor guy slept most of the day. Getting shots can wear you out.
Overall, Ryan is a great baby. He loves to cuddle and talk, swing in his swing and play on the floor with his play gym. He's a pretty good sleeper as well. We love the nights where Ryan will get 4 - 5 hours of sleep.
I'm working on a few more videos (I have tech issues I can solve, it just takes time, which I don't have alot of these days). Hopefully I will update the blog a bit more as well.
