What have we gotten ourselves into?

That was uttered more than once by both of us as we tried to register at Babies R Us. I think we spent an hour in just the bottles, baths, and bibs section (and it's a pretty small section). Talk about overwhelming. We were semi-prepared because we already had a list of items we wanted to register for thanks to the Babies R Us website where you can create a wish list as you check out all the many different things babies need. I think I lost my cool somewhere around the diaper bags (still in the bottles, baths, and bibs section mind you). Two and a half hours later we called it quits. We decided to register for a few items online because we were both too tired to go on. It was also really the only time I regretted not finding out the gender of the baby. You kind of get tired of having to choose yellow, green, and white items. I need some pink or blue. I think after the kid is born, that's all I'm buying, pink or blue.
